Chloe Duniker has been working with glass for the last twelve years. In that time, she has explored many directions and techniques in regards to the creation of her work. In all of Chloe's pieces, she tries to create a synthesis between an age-old tradition and modern appeal. Using a color palette that is primarily modern, Chloe creates forms that are classical in nature and achieve a balance between line, form, and color.
One of Chloe Dunikers primary interests is the investigation of pattern, such as the patterns found on textiles or in baskets. She also has a strong interest in the use of precious metals, silver foil and gold. This allows an infinite number of designs to be created and an extremely dramatic finished work. In all of Chloe's pieces, she seeks to achieve a universal sense of beauty.
Chloe Duniker received a BFA from Ohio State University.
