Rachael Ray Au Hoon

Rachael Ray is an imaginative oil painter who is driven by an incredible passion for self expression through art. Born in 1978 in Kealakekua, Hawaii, Rachael took to art as soon as she was able to hold a crayon! Throughout her childhood on Molokai and young adulthood on Maui, Rachael developed an appreciation for her majestic surroundings and a love for the land. Her oil paintings are often noted for their unique style, elegance, sensuality and technique; blending precise realism with her abstract expressionism. Her use of vibrant colors and strong lines make her work an excellent choice for a wide range of collectors. Rachael’s artwork is found in private collections from Russia to Japan, Canada to the United States and of course in Hawaii! Rachael says, “I have many passions in life and painting allows me to share this happiness with everyone, as I pour this aloha for life into my canvas.” Rachael also loves studying hula and sharing her love and knowledge of Hawaiian culture and history. She lives in Waikapu, Maui with her husband Duke and daughter Honi Honi.
